The Antman family presents their own brew, Antbrew, which was started in the spring of 2018 to relieve the father’s strong thirst for his own beer for the family. For a long time he had worked for other people’s beers but never for his own. On a day in April in the kitchen it finally happened, and Antbrew was made. Right now the whole family is working to realize this dream, to launch beer based on our special surname, with a specific kind of ant which defines each type of beer. Antbrew is a new brand that the Antman family continue to build on, with flavors we like to share. Antbrew’s beer and cider are not only part of what we do, it is also an end product of all Antman’s characteristic pursuit of self-realization, job satisfaction, passion and success.
At Beerhere the beer is mashed by hand in 1500 liter batches, with the local water of Allinge in Denmark being perfect for dark beers, which has made Beerhere famous for their malt forward and dark beers. For the lighter styles the water is treated to remove some of the hardness. Beerhere prides itself on being one of the last breweries in Northern Europe to brew with whole flower hops.
Hornbeer is a farmhouse brewery founded in 2008 of Gunhild and Jorgen Fogh Rasmussen. All their beer is brewed with the least possible consumption of resources. On the roof of the brewery a lot of solar panels produce electricity for the brewery, and all the beer is chilled with natural cooling from the ground. Hornbeer’s goal is to brew all their beer CO2-neutral. A great amount of Hornbeer’s beer is organic.
